Year 1 Trip to Windsor Castle – Thursday 27^th March

Dear Parents,

As part of our ‘Toys in the Attic’ topic, year 1 will be taking a trip to Windsor to explore the castle, with a special focus on Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.

Coaches will be leaving school promptly at 9am on the day and will arrive back in time for a normal collection at 3.15pm. A text message will be sent out should we be unexpectedly delayed. We are aiming to leave the classrooms at 8.45am so please ensure your child arrives for registration by 8.30am on this day.

Your child will need to bring a named packed lunch including a water bottle. Please avoid sending any fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate. As all year 1 children are entitled to universal school meals, you can request a school packed lunch. If you require us to provide lunch, please complete the request slip and return by Wednesday 26^th February.

The cost of the trip is £17.36 and payments and permission slips need to be handed in to your child’s class teacher no later than 26^th February. We ask for the attached paper copy be to be signed as well as the permission slip on scopay. Payments need to be made on SCOPAY via www.scopay.com. If you have a question regarding your SCOPAY account, please email the school office on secretary@owlsmoorprimary.com.  

We recognise this may have an impact on families and if you may be unable to meet the full cost of the school trip or visit, come and see Mr. Cope to arrange a conversation around how we can best support you and your family, something that has always been on offer to all of our families.
