Dear Parents,

 

History Trip to Hampton Court Palace

 

As part of our study of The Tudors in our ‘Off With Her Head’ topic, we are delighted to inform you that we will be taking the whole year group to visit Hampton Court Palace on Tuesday 22^nd October. This wonderful experience will give children the opportunity to s see an original Tudor palace; take part in a work shop, which will give the children information on jobs at Henry VIII’s court; and walk around the gardens and world-famous maze. The coaches will leave school at approximately 9.30am and, all being well, will arrive back to Owlsmoor by approximately 3.30pm. Children must be collected on arrival and will not be allowed to walk home unaccompanied. 

 

The trip will cost £18. In order for us to proceed with the trip, please complete the slip below and pay the full cost, via SCOPAY, by Friday 11^th October.

 

In order to ensure that the children are supervised appropriately, we would like to extend an invitation to any parents who would like to volunteer to join us. We require two parents per class and would welcome anyone who currently has a DBS check with the school. If you are interested, please let your child’s teacher know.
