Year 5 trips 2023-2024

 

Every year, the children’s learning includes a range of experiences designed to ‘bring learning to life’. This year, the children in Year 5 will have the opportunity to take part in a theatre workshop based on The Ancient Greeks, to watch a theatre show at Woking Theatre and to visit Marwell Zoo in the summer.

 

Inevitably, these wonderful opportunities come at a cost, although we can often secure a subsidised price for a school group booking. This year, we would like to offer you options about how you make payments for these experiences. The table below details each event, the cost of the voluntary contribution and the deadline date for the payment.

Within the SCOPAY payment system, both events will be set up separately. You will be able to access them at any time from receipt of this letter via www.scopay.com This will enable you to make part payments or full payments from now until the deadline date stated above for each event. We hope this will help in providing opportunities to budget weekly or monthly if you wish to do so. You can also make the payment through the SCOPAY mobile app, which can be downloaded on the App Store or Google Play by searching for SCOPAY. If you have a question regarding your SCOPAY account, please email the school office on secretary@owlsmoorprimary.com  If your child is in receipt of the pupil premium grant, the school will cover the cost of these experiences, in line with government policy.

 

Full details about each event will be sent home nearer the time with a reminder of the payment deadline and a permission slip for your completion. In the meantime, should you have any further questions regarding this payment system, please contact the school office or speak to your child’s class teacher at the end of the day.
