HISTORY FORTNIGHT CELEBRATION

You should have all received a letter with details of our upcoming event on Friday 17^th July. The children (and adults!) are invited to wear red, white and blue to school to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The children will perform a few songs on the school field at 12.15, which parents are invited to watch. Parents are then invited to stay to have a picnic with their child(ren) between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. At 1.30pm the children will be registered and parents are then invited to go and see the exhibition in the school hall and your child’s classroom, which will showcase their learning during History Fortnight.

Please note, the school kitchen will not be serving hot school meals that day, so all children need to have a packed lunch (the kitchen can make packed lunches for children eligible for Free School meals upon request – please return the slip attached to the letter that went out earlier this week).
