    13/10/2017 -

It’s that time of year again! We are all looking forward to visiting the church on the morning of Friday 13th October to celebrate the harvest. We have decided once again to support the local Food Bank.

Food Banks give out nutritionally balanced, emergency food parcels to people that do not have enough food and are unable to afford it themselves. They also offer help to less fortunate people in our community, putting them in touch with charities and other help centres.

This year the food bank are running the COIN A CAN INNITIATIVE where they are asking people to donate one can/food item with £1 sellotaped on to go towards their storage costs.

We would like the children to bring donations of:

    Tinned meat or fish

    Tinned fruits and vegetables

    Pasta, cereals and rice

Long life milk and fruit juices

    Tea Bags/Coffee

Please send your donation in with your child next week, we will be collecting donations all week, but cannot receive goods after Friday.  We are hoping to make this our best year ever for giving. If you are available to help walk the children to the church that morning, can you please speak to your child’s teacher.  Thank you.
